Compliance Information for Your Keychain Project
We help buyers review relevant documents and plan third-party testing for custom keychain projects. The requirements depend on the product, materials, intended user, and destination market, so we confirm the scope for each order.
Compliance Topics for Custom Keychains
The topics below relate to our product range and customer requirements. Document availability and scope are checked for the particular factory, material, or sample; this list is not a statement that every product holds each certification.
ISO 9001 — Quality Management
ISO 9001 sets requirements for a quality management system. When this is part of your supplier review, the organization, site, scope, and current status on the relevant certificate need to be checked.
amfori BSCI — Social Auditing
amfori BSCI concerns social auditing at production sites. Any audit information must be reviewed for the actual site and assessment; it does not establish product safety or cover every supplier involved in an order.
REACH — Chemical Requirements
REACH can create requirements for substances in articles supplied to the EU. For keychains, the relevant materials, components, and applicable requirements need to be identified before selecting the evidence or tests.
RoHS — Electrical and Electronic Products
RoHS restricts certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. It may be relevant to an electronic keychain, with scope assessed for the actual product; it is not a general certificate for every keychain material.
EN 71 — Toy Safety Standards
The EN 71 series addresses toy safety. For a keychain intended to be a toy, the applicable parts and current references need to be identified for its design and intended use.
CPSIA — U.S. Children’s Products
CPSIA includes requirements concerning children’s product safety, testing, and certification. The product’s intended age and use determine which requirements apply; relevant testing and certificate responsibilities must be confirmed for the U.S. market.
California Proposition 65
Proposition 65 concerns exposure to listed chemicals and warnings where required. A review for a keychain needs to address the actual materials and exposure circumstances; a generic test report does not settle every warning question.
Third-party Test Reports
We support project-specific testing through laboratories such as SGS, Intertek, and BV. The laboratory, test scope, and sample are confirmed for the project, and a report applies only within its stated scope.
How We Handle Project Testing
We work through the requirements and available evidence before an additional test is agreed.
Product and Market Requirements
We use the destination market, intended users, and buyer requirements you provide to discuss the selected keychain, materials, and relevant testing needs.
Available Document Review
We check which existing documents are relevant and can be shared. Their holder, covered site or sample, methods, dates, and results must match the intended use.
Project Test Plan
We support third-party testing for the project. The standards, sample, laboratory, costs, and schedule are confirmed before testing; additional costs depend on the scope, materials, and laboratory.
Talk Through Your Compliance Needs
Let us know the market and documents your project requires. We can discuss the available information and whether additional testing is needed.
